Expected salary range of $92,700 to $103,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Manage specific Radwaste / Chemistry programs as assigned. It involves managing the radwaste program, maintaining regulatory requirements, writing reports, managing special projects, training personnel, , and participating in the EP and duty rotation.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manage Radwaste projects and programs, which entails the review and analysis of plant data for processed water, plant walkdowns, and participation in troubleshooting plans.
  • Communicate with station management and other station departments with respect to Radwaste issues.
  • Maintain Radwaste reports and vendor oversight and provide necessary updates to vendor procedures, and station processes as required.
  • Receive & provide Radwaste related training, which includes preparing and delivering lesson plans. Observe and participate in classroom training activities.
  • Participate in EP and duty rotations. Subject to call out as required in support of station requirements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4 year technical degree and 2 years plant experience or
  • Achieved Chemistry Technician qualification with a minimum of 6 years plant experience or
  • 2 year technical degree and 2 years of Radwaste experience or 5 years nuclear plant experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Chemist /CE Degree
  • 2 years Radwaste experience
