Lab Technician Jobs in Ohio
A Lab Technician in the chemistry industry primarily performs a variety of complex laboratory procedures and tests, ensuring precision and accuracy in their results. They handle chemicals, perform analyses, conduct experiments, and interpret data under the supervision of chemists or other scientists. Their responsibilities may also include documentation and reporting, equipment maintenance, laboratory safety protocols, quality control, and even research assistance. To effectively perform their duties, Lab Technicians must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and good manual dexterity. Certifications such as the American Society for Clinical Pathology's Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification and hands-on experience in a laboratory setting are often required.
